About this test
48 statements, about seven minutes. You rate how well each one describes you on a seven-point scale — there are no right answers, and the result is only as useful as how honestly you answer rather than how you would like to come across.
At the end you get a four-letter type and, more usefully, how strongly you lean on each of the four scales. Anything close to the middle is flagged as a close call, because on those scales the letter could genuinely come out the other way on a different day.
It's free, there's no sign-up, and you don't need to give an email address to see your result. Answers are scored in your browser and aren't stored.
What it measures

About seven minutes. There are 48 statements and one on screen at a time, so it moves quickly — most people answer on instinct rather than deliberating, which tends to give a truer result anyway.
Do I need to sign up or pay?
No. The test is free, there's no account, and you don't need to give an email address to see your full result. Nothing is held back behind a payment.
What happens to my answers?
They're scored in your browser and aren't stored on a server. Your result is encoded in the page address, which is what makes it shareable — if you don't share the link, nobody else sees it.
Can I go back and change an answer?
Yes. Use the back control, or Backspace on a keyboard. On a desktop you can also answer with the number keys 1 to 7.
